What kind of calcuators do you want us to have? Do you want us to use them at all?
Use whatever kind of calculator you alike. I am convinced that a
calculator that you know how to use, and are familiar with, is
much more useful than some other kind. Tom Morley
Do I need Matlab or Maple?
No. Both are availible on almost all of the public machines
on campus. I belive the two(2) computer project will be in Maple,
even though I think that Mathematica is a much better system.

Is homework to be collected and graded during the recitation periods? If so, is it necessary to purchase the 9th Edition of Salas' Calculus book (I used the 8th for calculus I), as the problems slightly differ. Thanks!
The problems are from the 9th edition. Find a friend with the th edition. Most of the problems are in the 8th, but may have different numbers. HW is collected in recitation. - Tom Morley
