Tests, Homework, grades, and other logistics

Course grades:

First quiz Tuesday September 13th

Topics covered will be posted off the main class page by the end
of the second week.

The cutoffs for A, B, C, etc., will be on or below 90,80,70,60, etc. Historically, they whave been appoximately 3 points below.

All tests will be open book, notes, with calculator allowed.
Homework will be posted at the class website, and it is the students responsibility to keep track of when it is posted and when it is due. Ordinarilhy it will be posted before Friday and be due the following Tuesday or Thursday. I think working on HW in groups is a good way to learn the material, but there is a line here. Working in groups is OK. Zeroxing other's HW (or copying) and handing it in as one's own work is not OK. The later would be a violation of the Georgia Tech Honor Code

The computer project(s) will be done in groups.
