How to put equations on the co-web
There are several ways to do this.
Boring old way:
- Make your equation in a Microsoft Word document
- go to Insert, then Object, then Microsoft Equation
- create your equation
- Save the file
- use a distinctive name (this needs to be distinguishable from everyone else's "equation1" or whatever), so you should use your name in the name of the file
- save "as html" or "as web page"
- On the CoWeb: uploading
- click the "uploads" button at the top
- find your file through "browse" and upload it
- On the CoWeb: inserting the equation in your text
- when you're editing a page, insert the image by surrounding the name by +'s, and 's
