Questions?
Can the solutions to the quizzes be posted online so we know what we did wrong? Thanks.
Who do we talk to about a re-grade? (On the last problem, I KNOW that my explanations are correct and I can't find anything wrong with #2.)
When will the next quiz be?
September 23 - Tom Morley
For re-grades, see me. - Tom Morley
Professor Morley, I have not looked at the current homework yet, but it seems like for all of our past homeworks that we go over a lot of the concepts in class after we have to do them for homework. Since we are graded for accuracy in our homework, would it be possible to push back the assignments so they correspond with the lectures? Thanks.
I try to coordinate lectures/HW so that the HW covers what was
covered in lectures up to the Friday or Monday before due date.
In any case, if there are any questions on HW -- ASK. - Tom Morley
Could you please post the solutions to our quiz...the grading seems to be a bit vague?
Does anyone know the average on the first quiz?
In calc 2 we were allowed 1 quiz drop, does this apply in 2602?
I'll post the answers to quiz 2 this week. - Tom Morley
It looks like we'll only have 4-5 quizes, so we'll keep them all.
Are we exempt from taking the final, if we have a solid (90-100) test average on all of our tests upon the completion of dead week?
Solid is not equal to 90 and above. - Tom Morley
How about 95? ;-)
When do you plan on having quiz #4?
Are we allowed to collaborate on homework?
Work together, but what you hand in should be your own work.
Are we allowed to work alone on the project if we are unable to find a suitable partner?
Are you planning on having one more quiz before the final?
What if the people in the groups for the project are in different sections- should the webpage be posted in each section for every member to get credit?
Is there going to be any kind of a curve on anything in this class? Just curious...
For the project, can we enter HTML and reference images on another server, or is it text only?
Project
I've tried to upload our project since last Monday, however half the time I get a "not valid" message after I press "upload" and then the other half it makes funny symbols when I hit "save" (changes sigmas, etc) but doesn't do that after I paste in our project. What do I do now?
are we allowed to collaborate on homework?
