DEGREE PETITION -- Are you near the end of your degree?

Students who are within 2 (or 3) semesters of graduating should be talking with their academic advisors about the petitition to graduate and the process for the approval of the petition during the academic advisement time. If a student wishes to talk to their advisor about the petition to graduate or any other academic matter, they should contact their advisor to set up a time to meet with him/her. The list of student/advisor assignments can be found by clicking the link above

Information about the Georgia Tech process for obtaining and filling out the petition to graduate can be found at:

http://www.registrar.gatech.edu/students/faq/20.php

and the directions for filling out the petition and the petition itself can be found at:

http://www.registrar.gatech.edu/docs/pdf/UGRAD_PETITION_FOR_DEGREE.pdf

Please note that you will need to fill out the form (above) and have a completed PTFE scheduling spreadsheet (the one that you have been using for academic advisement) to petition to graduate.

Please contact your advisor if you have any other questions about the petition to graduate process in PTFE.
