I couldn't find information on the types of polymers that BASELL uses; however, I was able to find a new polypropylene manufacturing process, Shperizone. "This new process is based on Basell’s proprietary multi-zone circulating reactor technogology." (Basell) Here is a link to the new Spherizone.
BASELL has manufacturing facilities in 18 countries on five contients. Through these manufacturing facilities, Basell is able to sell to customers in over 120 countries. (Basell)
